Motorcycle Picture Frame: Finished Product

The motorcycle picture frame is finally complete. The project was centered around the electronics, and designed with our motorcycles in mind. The stage is set, and pictures are cycling through the TFT display.

Motorcycle Picture Frame: Programming

This has multiple parts, each contributing to the displays. The simplest being the microSD breakout board to provide the pictures for the TFT display, and the other being the RTC module providing the date and time for the OLED display. Additionally, the pictures on the microSD have to be loaded and looped for display.

Motorcycle Picture Frame: Design

Having the electronics laid out on paper, I can better determine placement for the overall design. Running cables throughout the project can be hidden inside objects, such as pillars, bleachers, platforms, stands, etc. Measure multiple times, and print once.

The parts used in this project were taken from the attempt at the incorporating electronics into the jewelry box armoire project. Without recreating the blog posts, I’ll condense the information for what was used, along with any changes to the overall project.

Project: Motorcycle Picture Frame

Putting the electronic components into the woodworking project didn’t work out as I had hoped. This time, I’ll center the project around the electronics, ensuring that they’ll fit into an enclosure that I design.
