Putting the electronic components into the woodworking project didn’t work out as I had hoped. This time, I’ll center the project around the electronics, ensuring that they’ll fit into an enclosure that I design.
This project is finally done. There was a lot of learning from both electronics and woodworking, with planning and patience playing the biggest role. This was my first time with a woodworking project, and thought it’d be mostly straightforward: design, measure, prototype, measure again, finalize, and build. While this was mostly true, there were things that I didn’t consider, which made the build that much more difficult to finalize and build.
There are two factors to making this sketch complete:
The example sketches provide much of what I want to do, and they work in the way I need for my jewelry box; refer back to the two points! With the exception of a few changes to function calls, and minor code addition, the majority of the sketch is a copy/paste from example sketches.
